About The Position

The Radiology Assistant supports the radiology department by transporting patients safely and promptly to and from procedures, maintaining their safety, modesty, and comfort. The role also supports department operations through clerical tasks and assists Technologists as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrate written, interpersonal, or communication skills appropriate to the position.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of placement into the position.

• Previous hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely and in a timely manner to and from procedures, ensuring their safety, modesty, and comfort.
• Perform clerical activities, including answering telephones and pulling procedure requests as needed.
• Provide assistance to Technologists as needed.
