About The Position

St. Anthony Summit Hospital is a Level III trauma center recognized for its patient experience and as a Top 100 Hospital. We offer a full range of medical specialties and health care services to the region. We are seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) to join our team. In this role, you will provide quality patient care, perform high-quality images and exams, follow safe radiation practices, and act as a clinical resource. External Radiology Techs are eligible for a $6k Seasonal Incentive. A $400/month Summit County housing stipend is available for full-time residents of specific counties who work at least 80% on-site.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
• HS diploma or GED required
• Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required
• Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required
• Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
• Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs.
• Follows standards of safe radiation practice.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.
• Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologist and other hospital personnel.
• Assure current standards of practice for the unit.
