About The Position
The Radiology Tech performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable HFAP, TJC, local regulatory, CMS, state, and federal requirements. The role serves as the first-line interface with customers and supports their imaging needs. The Radiology Tech also participates in performance improvement and quality control activities and is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.
Requirements
- State licensure and a fluoroscopy permit, as required by the state.
- ARRT-R certification is required.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
