About The Position
Gateway Regional Medical Center is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology team. You'll operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images, working with a good degree of independence while contributing to accurate diagnoses across the hospital. With a predictable Monday-Friday day shift, this role offers strong work-life balance alongside meaningful clinical work. This is a great fit for a tech who's comfortable problem-solving independently and wants steady hours without sacrificing variety in patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program
- ARRT registration
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Licensure by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)

- Previous experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment in accordance with department protocols
- Administer radiopaque contrast material for enhanced exams under radiologist supervision
- Maintain a safe environment using proper protective devices and practices
- Stay attentive to patient needs throughout exams, taking appropriate action as needed
- Solve problems independently with limited supervision
