About The Position

Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Radiology Technologist performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. The technologist demonstrates good clinical skills and provides the best possible images for interpretation, applies radiation protection principles, and complies with applicable regulations. The role assumes responsibility for a designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. The technologist follows Corewell Health’s Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy at all times.

This full-time position is based at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital, a 632-bed teaching and research hospital in Southeast Michigan. The hospital is a Level II trauma center and a Joint Commission-accredited primary stroke center. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week on the evening shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)-accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at the student level.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist registration required within 180 days.
• ARRT Radiographer (R) certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
