About The Position

Provides quality radiographic imaging, including fluoroscopy, under the general direction of a physician for all age groups served by the entity, while ensuring ALARA principles are achieved. Participates in departmental quality-improvement processes to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Depending on departmental business needs, supports patient workflow through duties such as front-desk work, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, patient intake, and other duties within the scope of practice. The estimated pay range is $28.27–$39.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma, certificate, GED, training, or equivalent experience.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist certification.
• ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography certification.
• Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Change agility and flexibility.
• Depending on departmental business needs, may need competency in vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and front-desk duties, including quick registration.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Must complete and maintain the Career Ladder Portfolio to be considered for Radiology Tech 2.

Responsibilities
