About The Position

Are you a skilled Radiology Technologist looking for a flexible part-time opportunity in a supportive and professional environment? We’re seeking a dependable, patient-focused candidate to join our growing team and help deliver exceptional care. We are a growing, patient-centered medical group with multiple clinic locations across the Los Angeles area, providing high-quality, compassionate care in ENT, Allergy, Audiology, and Imaging services. This position will involve travel between our locations to provide coverage and support. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work directly with providers and clinical staff to ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and accurate records.

Requirements

  • ARRT Certification (Required)
  • Current CRT and Fluoroscopy Permit (Required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have reliable transportation, and willingness to travel between locations as needed

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in CT imaging.
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiographic positioning.
  • Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems (e.g., GE, Philips, Siemens platforms).

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring diagnostic image quality and adherence to established protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adjusting technical parameters as needed for optimal image acquisition.
  • Ensure imaging quality and accuracy while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Ensure timely and accurate interpretation of scans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the PACS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
  • Adhere to radiation safety procedures and ALARA principles to protect patients, staff, and self.
  • Travel to different clinic locations as scheduled to provide coverage or support.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education to maintain certification and licensure.
  • Other duties as assigned
