About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist for its Orthopedics Department at Baptist Silverleaf. This is a day-shift position based at the Clay office building in Fleming Island, Florida, and travel to other Orthopedic locations is required. The technologist prepares rooms, positions patients, and operates imaging equipment to capture clear diagnostic images that support clinical decisions. The role involves working closely with nurses and physicians and providing safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• One of the following is required: Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI); Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT; Licensed Radiologic Technologist; or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• Radiology or imaging experience.
• Experience working in a hospital setting.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Prepare rooms and position patients to capture clear diagnostic images.
• Promote goodwill with coworkers and other departments and maintain a positive, comforting demeanor with patients.
• Report to the Lead Technologist on shift.
• Comply with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and in accordance with state and federal regulations or lawful institutional policy.
• Travel to other Orthopedic locations as required.
