About The Position
Shriners Children's St. Louis is hiring a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, including imaging for fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy. The position's hours and days vary. Shifts fall between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
Requirements
- Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential.
- Prior C-arm experience.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of pediatric orthopedics experience.
Responsibilities
- Accurately position patients and ensure that quality radiographic images are produced.
- Work closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
- Communicate and document patient images.
- Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
- Maintain an ongoing plan for personal growth and self-development.
- Demonstrate professional communication with peers and supervisors, and flexibility during unexpected work-related events.
