About The Position

This temporary, six-month role supports the Radiology/Emergency department. Under the leadership of the department director and operations supervisor, the Tech Aide works in an ancillary capacity to enhance technical staff efficiency and productivity. The aide provides technical support related to daily operations and procedures, takes direction from technical staff, and reports ultimately to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements

• Able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
• Capable of multitasking and prioritizing.
• Good understanding of body mechanics related to patient transfers and transportation.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in a similar environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
