About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Radiology Tech working 4 x 10-hour shifts from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. The role involves arranging patients for radiological examinations, producing radiographs (x-rays) for diagnosis, and ensuring patients are not exposed to unnecessary radiation. The position operates under immediate supervision and requires a degree of creativity and latitude. Cross-training is available for MRI, Mammography, and Ultrasound.

Requirements

• Radiology Tech credentials required
• Associate's degree from an accredited program required
• Registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. required
• License to practice in the state of Kentucky is required
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

Nice To Haves

• MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound credentials preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience preferred
• MRI, Mammography and Ultrasound registration preferred

Responsibilities

• Arranges patients for radiological examinations
