About The Position

Radiology Tech Full-Time Position Overnight Shift - Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday Flexible Scheduling = 4 x 10 hour shifts Job Summary: Arranges patients for radiological examinations Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Works under immediate supervision A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager Will be crossed trained as CT Tech Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees. Today, ORMC offers a wide spectrum of healthcare services, including advanced diagnostic imaging technology, emergency care, innovative surgical procedures, maternity care, comprehensive cardiac services and general medical care. Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited program required
  • Registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. required
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • 3+ years of experience preferred
