About The Position

This role is responsible for performing maintenance on precision machinery and equipment. The technician will rebuild, repair, and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. This includes working with electrical equipment, performing basic wiring, and using metalworking tools to create or repair parts. The position also involves assisting with moving equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, particularly in hydraulics and pneumatics, and a keen attention to detail. The role requires the ability to work an average of 50 hours per week and involves heavy lifting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of technical maintenance experience
• High level of mechanical aptitude (hydraulic / pneumatic)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work an average of 50 hours/week
• Heavy lifting required

Responsibilities

• Practices safe work habits while performing maintenance
• Rebuilds precision machinery and equipment
• Repairs electrical equipment and performs basic wiring
• Installs and adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Cleans, repairs or replaces defective parts
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts
• Assist in moving large and small equipment
