About The Position

Provides procedural support in the Cardiovascular Lab including operation of radiologic equipment, procedural patient care, and patient monitoring, circulating, and scrub duties. Call is required in addition to the regular schedule, with a 30-minute response time required while on-call.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school for Radiology Technology
• California Radiology Technologist license
• California Fluoro permit
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• At least six months’ recent experience in an acute care procedural setting
• Knowledge of cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, peripheral vascular, interventional neurology, and/or interventional radiology
• Experience with advanced IT applications such as PACS and physiologic monitoring systems
• Must be flexible
• Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

• RCIS, RCES or advanced Radiology Tech certification
• Prior Cath Lab Experience
• Proficient in sterile technique
• Experience with cardiovascular physiologic monitoring
• Experience with EKG rhythm recognition
