About The Position
Provides procedural support in the Cardiovascular Lab, including procedural patient care and either scrubbing or monitoring functions. This role requires on-call availability with a 30-minute response time.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year of experience in a clinical role at an acute care facility, or certificate of completion from Scrub/Surgical Tech or Monitor Tech Program
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications within (6) months of hire date
Nice To Haves
- RCIS or RCES certifications
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and cardiovascular anatomy
Responsibilities
- Provides procedural patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab.
- Performs scrubbing or monitoring functions during procedures.
- Is on-call, requiring a 30-minute response time.
