About The Position

Provides procedural support in the Cardiovascular Lab including operation of radiologic equipment, procedural patient care, and patient monitoring, circulating, and scrub duties. This is a full-time, 10-hour shift position with required call duties, including a 30-minute response time while on-call.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school for Radiology Technology.
• California Radiology Technologist license.
• California Fluoro permit.
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification.
• At least six months’ recent experience in an acute care procedural setting
• Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, peripheral vascular, interventional neurology, and/or interventional radiology knowledge
• Experience with advanced IT applications such as PACS and physiologic monitoring systems.
• Must be flexible
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• RCIS, RCES or advanced Radiology Tech certification.
• Prior Cath Lab Experience.
• Proficient in sterile technique.
• Experience with cardiovascular physiologic monitoring.
• Experience with EKG rhythm recognition.
