The Radiology Tech I performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. The role serves as a first-line interface with customers, supports the accomplishment of their imaging needs, participates in performance improvement and quality control activities, and processes and transmits images to PACS.
Requirements
- State-required licensure and fluoroscopy permit.
- ARRT-R certification.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable HFAP, TJC, local, CMS, state, and federal requirements.
- Serve as the first-line interface with customers and help accomplish their imaging needs.
- Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities.
- Process and transmit images to PACS.
