About The Position
Seeking a full-time Radiology Tech Assistant to join the Imaging departments at Baptist Health Floyd. This role involves assisting technologists and radiologists during imaging procedures, preparing patients for exams, completing health histories, and assisting with patient transport and transfers. The position offers the opportunity to work in a regional, non-profit community hospital known for its excellent working environment and commitment to continued education.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Radiology or equivalent medical profession preferred
- At least one (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred
- BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
Responsibilities
- Assist techs and radiologists during imaging procedures
- Prepare patients for exam and complete health history as needed
- Assist with transport and transfer of patients as needed
- Prepare imaging rooms for all procedures
