About The Position
Seeking a Radiology Tech Assistant for a full-time position with 3/12-hour shifts, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, on a rotating schedule. This role is located at Baptist Health Floyd, within the MRI Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. The primary function is to assist Technologists in the Imaging departments.
Requirements
- BLS certification from approved BLS course required (training will be provided)
Nice To Haves
- Enrollment in a Radiology or equivalent medical profession program
- At least one (1) year of experience in an acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Assist techs and radiologists during imaging procedures
- Prepare patients for exam and complete health history as needed
- Assist with transport and transfer of patients as needed
- Prepare imaging rooms for all procedures
- Position patients for imaging
