The Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA) will be responsible for scribing US, CR, and CT reports for review with the interpreting radiologist. This role involves auditing radiologists’ reports for voice recognition errors and working closely with the ultrasound department. The RPA will perform various US-guided procedures, engage in fluoroscopic guided procedures, and assist in non-endovascular imaging and guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The position requires autonomy in decision-making regarding patient assessment and management, administering intravenous medications or contrast media under supervision, and performing specialized imaging procedures. The RPA will also protocol imaging studies and issue critical results as dictated by the attending radiologist.
