About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a General Radiologist to join an established group of 12 Radiologists. The practice utilizes modern equipment including PACS, Flash and Edge CTS, 3.0T MRI and 1.5 T MRI, PET/CT, Ultrasound Units with 3D/4D, and Hologic Digital Breast Tomosynthesis Systems. The role involves General Diagnostic Radiology with optional light Interventional Radiology procedures such as drainage biopsies, PICC Lines, Arthrograms, and tube insertions/changes. Angiography is not required. The position offers a reasonable RVU requirement with ample internal moonlighting opportunities. This is a Multi-Specialty Group with a Closed Medical Staff, offering both onsite and hybrid practice opportunities within the Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system serving an 8-county region. Bassett Healthcare Network is a progressive academic health system and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Requirements

  • MD, DO or MBBS degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
  • Completion of an accredited USA Radiology Residency.
  • New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Proficiency in General Radiology including Diagnostic, CT, US, MRI and Nuclear Medicine.
  • BLS Certification Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for expertise in MSK, Breast Imaging & PET.

Responsibilities

  • Perform General Diagnostic Radiology procedures.
  • Conduct light Interventional Radiology procedures (optional), including drainage biopsies, PICC Lines, Arthrograms, and tube insertions/changes.

  • Participate in moonlighting opportunities.
