Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
Fellowship training in Breast Imaging required (MQSA certified)
Eligible for Ohio medical licensure or currently licensed in Ohio
Strong leadership skills with interest or experience in medical director roles
Commitment to evidence-based medicine and clinical excellence in women's imaging
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
Dedication to advancing breast cancer detection and women's healthcare

Responsibilities

Provide expert interpretation of breast imaging studies including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast biopsies
Serve as Medical Director overseeing clinical operations, quality assurance, and program development for the breast imaging center
Lead and mentor radiology staff and technologists to maintain excellence in breast imaging services
Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and oncologists to ensure optimal patient care coordination
Maintain ACR accreditation standards and implement best practices in breast cancer screening and diagnosis
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and breast care conferences
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
Provide compassionate patient consultations and results communication when appropriate
