About The Position

Capital Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Breast Radiologist to join their growing radiology team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive breast imaging services and work collaboratively with breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, primary care providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. This opportunity is ideal for a radiologist who is passionate about women’s health, early detection of breast cancer, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Jersey
  • Meets applicable MQSA requirements for interpreting physicians
  • Experience with screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred; candidates with substantial breast-imaging experience may also be considered

Responsibilities

  • Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, including digital breast tomosynthesis
  • Interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI examinations
  • Perform image-guided breast procedures, including ultrasound-guided, stereotactic/tomosynthesis-guided, and MRI-guided biopsies
  • Perform breast localization procedures as appropriate
  • Evaluate patients presenting for diagnostic breast imaging and communicate findings and recommendations
  • Provide timely communication of significant or suspicious findings to patients and referring providers
  • Participate in multidisciplinary breast conferences and tumor boards
  • Collaborate closely with breast surgery, oncology, pathology, radiation oncology, and other clinical specialties
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and adherence to breast-imaging quality and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting
  • Participate in educational activities for residents, fellows, technologists, or other clinical staff, as applicable
