About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Radiologist specializing in breast imaging. The role involves reading diagnostic exams and procedures as needed for an inpatient/outpatient facility in Portsmouth, OH. Coverage is needed from June 8th onwards, with specific needs during the fall. The typical schedule is Monday-Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The patient volume is approximately 60 exams/procedures per week, including screening and diagnostic mammograms and MRIs. The radiologist will be supported by office staff and work alongside other radiologists and mammo/US techs. The EMR system used is MediTech.
Requirements
- Active OH License or IMLC
- Board Certified (BC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Fellowship in Breast Imaging
Responsibilities
- Read diagnostic exams and procedures as needed.
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms.
- Perform screening and diagnostic MRI.
