Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available.
Good attention to detail - Ability to spot meat defects and consistently meet plant yield and quality standards.
Basic proficiency or willingness to learn how to use trimming tools and knives safely.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands.
Ability to work in varying temperature conditions including cold temperatures.
Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
Must practice good personal hygiene.
Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen, physical and E-Verify.

Nice To Haves

No formal experience is required. On the job training is provided.
Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Accurately separate breast meat from the carcass or bone line using specialized knives or equipment.
Meticulously remove excess fat, cartilage, and any connective tissue by hand or with a knife.
Inspect meat products for defects, bruises, or blemishes and discard or trim them accordingly.
Maintain a clean work area and strictly follow food safety and sanitation regulations to prevent cross-contamination.
Keep up with the fast-paced assembly line, balancing processing speed with precision and high yield.
Other duties as assigned.
