About The Position

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Altoona, PA is seeking a General Radiologist to join our world class health system. This position offers flexibility with options for tele-radiology or on-site work, as well as full-time or part-time employment. The ideal candidate will be residency-trained in general radiology, hold an MD or equivalent degree, and be board-certified or eligible in Radiology with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license. The department provides flexible scheduling and is supported by UPMC through teleradiology. The UPMC Department of Radiology is a large academic department with extensive staff and residents. Visa sponsorship is available. The department utilizes Phillips iSite and Powerscribe, which will transition to Phillips Vue PACS. Cerner is the current inpatient EMR, with a planned transition to EPIC for both inpatient and outpatient use by fall 2025.

Requirements

• Residency trained in general radiology.
• MD or equivalent degree.
• BC or BE in Radiology.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
