About The Position

The University of Rochester is seeking an ABR certified/eligible radiologist to join their general diagnostic community practice at FF Thompson Hospital in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. This is a hybrid role where radiologists share on-site coverage supplemented with work-from-home shifts. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits, with reasonable RVU targets and a productivity incentive plan. The facility is affiliated with the University of Rochester and does not require overnight call coverage. The role is located near Canandaigua Lake, a major wine region, and close to Rochester, which offers excellent schools, arts, dining, affordable housing, and outdoor recreational activities.

Requirements

• ABR certified/eligible
• MD/DO or equivalent
• NYS Licensed or License Eligible
• Fellowship trained (preferred but not required)

Nice To Haves

• Abdomen, chest, or neuro fellowship or equivalent training

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiology work.
• Share on-site coverage at FF Thompson Hospital.
• Supplement on-site coverage with work-from-home shifts.
• Utilize enterprise-wide unified PACS.
• Work with on-site physician assistant support for fluoroscopy and protocols.
• Focus at least 50% of assigned work on subspecialty training.
