About The Position

Growing physician-founded private group has a Radiologist opening for Swing or Night Teleradiology coverage! 100% work-from-home! The group is physician owned and physician led, started by 2 Radiologists who still read for this group today. They deliver Radiology coverage to 14 states and employ upward of 100 Radiologists and 75 employees. This is a private, physician-operated Radiologist practice, not owned by private equity or outside investors. This role involves diagnostic radiologists working 100% teleradiology, reading a broad range of cases, including significant ED and trauma volume. The group covers Swing or Overnight shifts that start around 3pm CST or 7pm CST. Typical shifts are 6-8 hours. There is zero call or after hours expectation. When your shift ends, you're done working. The group provides 24/7 operations and IT support, and other Radiologists are always available for 2nd opinions or difficult cases. An equitable distribution system of reads ensures everyone receives similar volume and compensation opportunities, with no cherry picking by senior docs. If a critical finding is detected, the operations team will handle alerting the necessary hospital and all back-end work.

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Radiology
• Eligible to acquire a state medical license
• Ability to work independently and remote
• Comfortable working Swing Shift, Nights, Weekends, or Holidays
• Must be an Independent Contractor (1099)

Nice To Haves

• Already possess a license for CA, CT, ID, IA, KS, MA, MS, NE, NV, NM, NC, OR, SC and TX

Responsibilities

• Provide Swing or Night Teleradiology coverage.
• Read a broad range of cases, including significant ED and trauma volume.
• Read approximately 165 studies on an 8-hour shift (roughly 20 per hour).
• Read approximately 50% CT, 30% Plain Film, 10% US, and 10% MR.
• Provide coverage for 60 hours per month.
• Collaborate with other radiologists for second opinions or difficult cases.
• Alert necessary hospitals for critical findings (handled by operations team).
