About The Position

AHMC - Alice Hyde Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for their Radiology Department. This is a per diem position with no committed hours and is not benefit eligible. The standard biweekly scheduled hours are 0, with variable 8-12 hour shifts. Weekend needs are as scheduled.

Requirements

• Must be licensed by the New York State Department of Health.
• Must be registered by ARRT Radiographer (R).
• Requires sufficient sensitivity and interpersonal skills in dealing with apprehensive patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Requires positive and effective communicating skills for interaction with physicians and staff in any situation.
• Requires an ability to think and act quickly in order to deliver efficient quality care in a variety of stressful situations.
• Must be BLS certified (or obtained within 3 months).
• As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
