About The Position

Prisma Health Urgent Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging and hands-on patient care in a dynamic, team-oriented clinical environment. The role supports accurate imaging and positive patient experiences through high-quality, patient-centered care. The posting describes a full-time schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 8 AM to 8 PM, with no overnight shifts; part-time and PRN options are also available.

Requirements

• Successfully complete an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)-approved educational program.
• Hold current ARRT credentials in Radiography (R).
• Hold certification in accordance with the state of South Carolina.
• Maintain an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Have excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EMR, PACS, and basic computer applications.
• Be flexible to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging, including proper patient positioning and radiation safety practices.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to ensure accurate results and patient safety.
• Document procedures and manage imaging records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with clinical team members to support patient care and satisfaction.
• Perform vital signs and triage, and assist with basic patient care tasks as needed.
• Support front office functions and maintain inventory and supplies.
