About The Position

Radiologic Technologist Southwoods Health | Boardman & Various Locations Southwoods Health is a growing medical network dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. We are seeking professional Radiologic Technologists to join our team across multiple settings, including our Surgical Hospital and Imaging Centers.

Requirements

ARRT Registered.
Valid Radiologic License for the State of Ohio.
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Proficiency with digital X-ray systems and PACS/EMR.
Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
Prior OR/C-Arm experience is a major plus for surgical roles.
Meditech experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Competently perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopic procedures (including intraoperative imaging in the OR) adhering to physician orders and aseptic techniques.
Maintain strict radiation safety standards and OSHA guidelines; ensure all patients and personnel are appropriately shielded.
Test, monitor, and calibrate imaging equipment (including C-Arms) to ensure proper function and immediate availability.
Accurately maintain records and QC documentation in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, ODH, and The Joint Commission standards.
Communicate status updates clearly and empathetically to patients and the care team to ensure a professional environment.
Maintain an organized work area with adequate supplies and positioning aids.
