About The Position
Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, Nebraska is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Department. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, providing safe and compassionate care, producing high-quality images, collaborating with the healthcare team, maintaining equipment and documentation, and participating in department activities.
Requirements
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or eligible for certification
- Nebraska Medical Radiographer License (or eligible)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and teamwork
- Must have graduated from an accredited radiology program
- Current registry in good standing with ARRT
- BLS certification required
- Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska
Nice To Haves
- CT and Mammography experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT, Bone Densitometry, and Mammography (if qualified)
- Provide safe, compassionate care for patients of all ages
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate patient diagnoses
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the healthcare team
- Maintain imaging equipment, quality assurance standards, and PACS documentation
- Participate in department training, quality improvement, and on-call rotation as scheduled
