About The Position

Precision Imaging Centers is seeking motivated Radiologic Technologists who are ready to advance their careers by cross-training in Mammography. This is a unique opportunity to gain specialized skills in a high-demand modality while working alongside a supportive, experienced team. This position will be based at our Gate Parkway center for training, with future placement at one of our Jacksonville-area centers, including our new Seven Pines location opening later this year. The training period is a minimum of 6 months to achieve Mammography registration. Future placement may be at any Precision Imaging Centers location in the Jacksonville area, and employees must be willing to support and work at multiple locations once fully trained.

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong interest in cross-training into Mammography
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

• Venipuncture experience preferred (willing to train)
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient medical histories
• Interpret physician orders and prepare for procedures
• Educate and guide patients to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
• Assist radiologists with procedures as needed
• Support team members and other modalities when needed
