About The Position

South College invites applications for a full-time Radiography faculty position at its Dallas campus. Under the direction of the Radiography Program Director, the faculty member is responsible for classroom instruction, student evaluation, and maintaining student records. The position also assists the Radiography Clinical Coordinator with clinical education and supports operational activities related to quality patient care and overall department function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
• At least one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.

Nice To Haves

• MRI and/or CT credentials are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for Radiography courses, evaluate students, and maintain student records.
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator with growing and developing additional clinical sites for the Radiography program.
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator with coordinating clinical activities so students can achieve competencies.
• Facilitate operational activities related to quality patient care and overall department function.
• Uphold high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator in maintaining strong relationships with clinical affiliates and the community.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director.
