About The Position
This location provides imaging services for outpatients, urgent care, and surgery. Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering a range of primary care and specialty practices where team members can explore varied interests or specialize. The Radiographer coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, and surgical procedures according to applicable standards and practices. The role receives physician orders and ensures they are carried out, and verifies that equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field.
- Radiographer (R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required upon hire.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of relevant experience in radiology.
- Bone Densitometry (BD) certification from ARRT for Bone Density Sites, preferred upon hire.
Responsibilities
