About The Position

The Radiographer collaborates with physicians, physician assistants and/or nurse practitioners, and nursing staff in support of Our Promise. The role performs quality diagnostic imaging examinations using advanced clinical and technical knowledge and maintains strict attention to safe patient care in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols. The Radiographer is knowledgeable about regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety and works with the Radiation Safety Officer to maintain departmental compliance.

The position is based at the Medical Center in Fort Worth. Cook Children’s is a Texas-only employer; employees must maintain their primary residence in Texas and keep all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• TMB certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Maintain primary residence within Texas throughout employment.
• Maintain all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.
