About The Position

The Radiographer performs radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to evaluate pathological conditions as ordered by physicians. The role uses independent judgment to select appropriate radiographic techniques and patient positioning, while following safety practices and department protocols. The Radiographer collaborates with Radiologists and healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic imaging that supports patient care and treatment decisions. The position is part of the Henry Ford Medical Group, whose department focuses on diagnostic imaging and timely evaluations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), or registry eligible with registration required within 12 months of hire.
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
• Maintain required hours of continuing education.

• Prior experience in a healthcare or radiologic setting.
• Familiarity with advanced radiographic techniques and equipment.
