About The Position

ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers is hiring licensed Radiographers for its Baltimore locations in Maryland. Radiographers perform x-rays and help support patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment, contributing to a positive patient experience. The role requires flexibility to work 12+ hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to travel in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved R.T. program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Maryland State Radiographer License.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy.
• Proficiency in operating x-ray equipment.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to comply with the company travel policy.
• Ability to work 12+ hour shifts, stand and walk for long periods, and lift 25 pounds.
• Scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of clinical experience in a physician’s office or hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams by taking x-rays in accordance with established protocols and positioning techniques.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide appropriate positioning instructions before taking x-rays.
• Use radiation protection measures to minimize exposure for patients and employees.
• Assist with triage, discharge, and other basic patient care as the radiology workflow allows.
• Measure and record blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, height, and weight.
• Perform basic laboratory procedures, including EKGs, urine specimen collection, and influenza nasal swabs.
