Radiographer
About The Position
As a Radiographer, you will perform radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to evaluate pathological conditions as ordered by physicians. You will use independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning, and follow safety practices and department protocols. The role collaborates with Radiologists and healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic imaging that supports patient care and treatment decisions. The position is part of the Henry Ford Medical Group, which delivers coordinated care across primary and specialty practices. The department focuses on diagnostic imaging and timely evaluations, and offers collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), or registry eligible; registry must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS).
- Maintain required hours of continuing education.

- Familiarity with advanced radiographic techniques and equipment.
