About The Position

This position provides radiographic expertise for patients of all ages, from newborns to adults, in collaboration with physicians and/or nurse practitioners and nursing staff. The radiographer performs quality diagnostic imaging examinations using advanced clinical and technical knowledge and maintains strict attention to safe patient care in accordance with organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols. The role also requires knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, with responsibility for maintaining departmental compliance in collaboration with the Radiation Safety Officer. The position is PRN with flexible hours at Medical Center-Prosper in the Radiology-Diagnostic department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• CPR-BLS certification required.
• TMB certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• CT registry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
