About The Position

AMG Orthopedics is looking for a per diem Radiographer to provide coverage in the New Providence and Clark locations. The role involves performing diagnostic radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols, reviewing requisitions, obtaining patient medical history, preparing and positioning patients, and performing radiologic examinations with a high standard of accuracy.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiological Technology program required
• NJ State License and ARRT certification required
• Must maintain valid certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Orthopedics and familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols.
• Reviews each requisition prior to the examination to ensure all pertinent information is available.
• Obtains and records all required medical history from patient.
• Prepares and positions patients for each required view.
• Performs radiologic examination with a high standard of accuracy.
