About The Position

The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation treatments under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. The role includes positioning patients for treatment, operating a Varian True Beam Linear Accelerator and Align RT, verifying treatment parameters before initiating treatment, and maintaining accurate patient treatment records. The therapist must be proficient with ARIA and EPIC electronic medical record systems and the Microsoft Office suite, communicate effectively, work well with the clinical team, and demonstrate professionalism and compassion toward patients, families, and staff.

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiation therapy.
1–2 years of working experience with a Varian True Beam linear accelerator and Align RT.
Current ARRT (T) certification.
Current New Jersey Radiation Therapist License.
Proficiency with ARIA and EPIC EMR systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
