Locum - Radiation Oncology - MD/DO
About The Position
Join a dedicated team in Findlay, Ohio, as a Radiation Oncology Locum Physician. This well-supported community cancer program seeks a skilled Radiation Oncologist to support clinic operations, patient treatments, and simulations while working alongside an experienced clinical support team. Potential locum-to-permanent opportunities may also be considered. The assignment is at The Armes Family Cancer Care Center and Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio. Coverage is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. The physician will work independently as the sole provider during the assignment.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.
- Experience managing radiation oncology patients.
- Ability to work independently as the sole provider.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An active Ohio Medical License is preferred; candidates requiring licensure will be considered.
- Two professional references are required, including a reference from a recent locum assignment, if applicable.

Responsibilities
- Provide coverage during specified dates, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
- Conduct clinic visits for urgent consults, follow-up appointments, and on-treatment patients.
- Manage radiation oncology treatments, including CT simulations and urgent consultations.
- Function independently as the sole provider during the assignment.
- Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR).
