Emory University's Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a physician faculty member for an open-rank position (Assistant, Associate, or Professor). The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited residency and be board certified or in the process of becoming board certified by the American Board of Radiology. This role offers opportunities to engage in clinical care within an academic setting, including participation in clinical trials, health services/outcomes/policy research, translational biology, and medical physics research. A strong commitment to residency education, multidisciplinary cancer patient care, and ensuring quality and equity in care delivery is essential. The department has a tripartite mission focused on patient care, education, and research, and is highly ranked for NIH funding. Faculty are recognized internationally for their research and subspecialty care across various cancer types. The department operates across six sites in the Atlanta area, including the Emory Proton Therapy Center. This position is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on enhancing care quality in a major metropolitan area. Winship Cancer Institute, Georgia's only NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, coordinates cancer research and care across the university.
