About The Position

The Paul W. Seavey Comprehensive Internal Medicine Clinic at Emory University is seeking a highly qualified Internal Medicine physician for a career in Academic Internal Medicine and Primary Care. Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
• Commitment to academic internal medicine and primary care.
• Strong clinical skills in comprehensive internal medicine.
• Self-motivated with a focus on long-term professional growth and career development.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in academic medicine.
• Interest in research, teaching, or process improvement.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, personalized, and attentive comprehensive internal medicine care.
• Engage in teaching medical students and residents.
• Participate in research, process improvement, innovation, and scholarship.
• Assume partial practice due to retirement and manage new patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a clinical pharmacist, pharmacy students and residents, clinical psychologists, a dietician, and a health educator.
