About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Radiation Oncologist in Ephrata, PA. The role involves clinical coverage only, from July 15, 2026, to October 14, 2026, for a duration of 13 weeks. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The facility utilizes the EPIC EMR system and serves an adult patient demographic. Daily treatment volumes average 14 patients, with approximately 8 consults and 20 follow-ups per week. The hospital has a bed size of 100 and is supported by an oncology-certified RN, physician access assistant, dietician, social worker, financial counselor, and four experienced radiation therapists.

Requirements

• Valid PA license or IMLC LOQ.
• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Radiation Oncology.
• DEA registration with a PA address.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Temporary privileges may be available for urgent needs on clean files, subject to approval at the beginning of the process.

Responsibilities

• Perform normal radiation oncology operations, including clinic and inpatient consults (though infrequent).
• Participate in tumor boards and chart rounds.
• Ensure all clinical documentation meets facility standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures regarding patient safety and radiation protocols.
