Requirements

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training)
  • 6+ years' of experience working with one of the following; RF, electronic, Electronic Controls, Test or Digital circuitry
  • Ability to work in shop environment with basic hand tools and shop equipment
  • Proficient in basic software operation and experience in a windows operating environment.
  • Experience working with RF, electronic Controls and Digital circuitry
  • Ability to read and follow block diagrams and schematic diagrams
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Active Security Clearance
  • Experience in RCS range test environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance (TPM) on key equipment
  • Troubleshoot Radar test equipment system level down to component
  • Make needed repairs using electronic test equipment and soldering equipment/or coordinate with vendor for repair
  • Contribute original concepts to the development of advanced prototypes and fixtures.
  • PIV operation (i.e. load and unload equipment and models using fork trucks/telehandlers/ Bucket trucks).
  • Communicate project status to project teams
  • Build effective cross functional work relationships with a variety of internal and external customers.
  • Use mechanical and electrical skills to set up and teardown, troubleshoot and modify model fixtures.
  • Record inspection results, and make recommendations for changes in fixtures or test methods.
  • Conduct assigned safety inspections on a timely basis (Tier 1 Audits, POGs, 6S, shop equipment, vehicles and tools).
