About The Position

Leidos' Defense Systems, Systems Integration and Test Team is seeking an Integration Engineer Team Lead. This diverse team implements unique solutions for complex problems in the defense sector, including kinetic and directed energy defensive and offensive platforms, as well as RADAR and other surveillance and sensor technologies. The team collaborates across multiple business sectors, with industry partners, and directly with the customer, valuing a variety of skillsets to meet customer needs. Leidos Defense Systems Sector offers a diverse portfolio of systems, solutions, and services for customers worldwide, focusing on enterprise and mission IT, large-scale intelligence systems, command and control, geospatial and data analytics, cybersecurity, logistics, training, and intelligence analysis and operations support. The team is dedicated to solving the world's toughest security challenges for customers with "can't fail" missions.

Requirements

  • ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with 8+ years of experience or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
  • Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Two to four years of experience with test planning and execution.
  • Experience working with RADAR or RF systems.
  • Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator, antenna analyzer, power meter).
  • Working knowledge of software languages Python, C, C++, C# and or firmware languages for Xilinx or Altera devices.
  • Experience with Linux, Matlab, Labview, and WireShark.
  • Experience preparing and presenting briefings and/or demonstrations to customers and management.
  • Planning and executing demonstration tests and US Gov't test ranges/facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
  • Executing test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware projects.
  • Creating, modifying, and using Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) test platforms to satisfy testing requirements.
  • Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
  • Performing test data analysis via data log parser, Wireshark, and/or software debug tools.
  • Briefing both internal and external parties on test results and data.
  • Debugging software and/or hardware with various tools.

Benefits

  • Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
