Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking Hardware Integration Technical Lead to join our team Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department who will support X-Band Radar technology including the data analysis products of test activities at the Pelham Test Facility. This includes hardware integration events, software integration activities, and Radar Acceptance Testing at the Pelham NH location.

Requirements

  • Typically requires degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming languages.
  • Experience with test procedures, test plans, and/or test scripts.
  • Experience with systems engineering, radar data analysis, integration, verification, validation and/or system testing.
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Security Clearance Type: Secret - Current
  • Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience specifically including test, integration, or verification and validation of X-Band family of radars, Early Warning Radars or other Missile Defense System sensors.
  • Experience using String/HWIL test equipment, radio frequency (RF) electronic hardware configuration and installation, software installations, and integrating or regression testing radar systems.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat), Unix, and Shell scripting for performing integration, verification, test, and data analysis, integrating and configuring electronics, installing/debugging software.
  • Strong integration skills, knowledge of radar algorithms, radar signal processing concepts, theory, modeling and determining radar performance, and team interaction skills.

Responsibilities

  • The Technical Lead is responsible for tasking analysts with generating the data required to satisfy the Test Information Sheets (TIS) / Verification Information Sheets (VIS) and the documentation of results in the Technical Memos document deliverables.
  • The Technical Lead also partners daily activities and test cadence with the Test Director and guides team members through test execution.
  • Tasks may also include radar operations and maintaining tactical hardware.
  • Participate in integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, and perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations.
  • Review and partner all test results with internal and external customers and provide artifacts for radar sell off acceptance.
  • Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined tasks Milestones and schedules.
  • Integrate and test radar system software builds and hardware in a radar integration and test facility for supporting integration, verification, test, and data analysis activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness.
  • Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware.
