About The Position
The R.N. Clinical Leader is a full-time nursing supervisor position in the Long-Term Care department at Edna Tina Wilson Living Center in Rochester, New York. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role oversees nursing operations and staff scheduling, provides clinical guidance to staff, coordinates resident admissions, supports safe mealtimes, and facilitates emergency assessment and care for residents. Edna Tina Wilson Living Center is described as a CMS 5-Star facility. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
- One to three years of nursing experience.
- Registered as a registered nurse professional in New York State.
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Exceptional documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Post-acute or long-term acute care (LT PAC) nursing experience.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure short- and long-term Nursing Department staff schedules.
- Serve as a clinical resource to staff in problem solving, assessment, and special procedures.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, resident units, and the admissions department to support rapid resident admissions.
- Oversee dining areas and interact with residents, families, and staff to provide a safe, pleasant mealtime and ensure required records are completed appropriately.
- Facilitate emergency medical assessment and care of residents, including interventions, transportation, and other resources as needed.
